Classic Mountain Reset

Best for: first-time visitors, small groups, ages 30+

Day 1 — Arrive & settle

Check in, unload, walk the porches. Drive 8 minutes to Blairsville Square for an early dinner at Cooks Country Kitchen. Back at the lodge: light the fire pit, cold drinks, a quiet first night.

Day 2 — Brasstown Bald

Breakfast in the galley. Drive 25 minutes up to Georgia's highest peak — on a clear morning you can see four states. Stop at Helton Creek Falls on the way back. Grill night on the porch.

Day 3 — Slow morning, head home

Sleep in, coffee on the porch, one last walk down the gravel drive. Check out is whenever the cars are loaded.

Day 3 — Lazy lodge day

Pancakes in the galley, board games, hammocks on the porch, scavenger hunt down the trail. Fire pit and s'mores after dinner.

Fall Leaf-Peeping Loop

Day 2 — Brasstown Bald + wineries

Top of Georgia at sunrise (worth the early alarm), then a slow afternoon at one of the Young Harris wineries. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 3 — Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

The lodge holds your plan.

Any of these can flex into a 2-night or 5-night stay. Mid-week is quieter (and cheaper); fall weekends book months out.
