North Georgia mountains for group adventures
For your group

Things to do, together — on and off the property.

Trackrock Hollow Lodge sleeps up to nine, so most of these are tuned for a small group. Need something built for 10–30 (or an actual event)? Our sister site, North Georgia Group Rentals, handles the bigger plans.
At the lodge

No-drive, no-plan options.

Fire pit nights

Wood-burning fire pit with seasoned logs already cut. S'mores kit available — just ask. The best meetings of the weekend usually happen here.

Great-room game night

Bring the board games or use ours. The dining table seats nine for cards, puzzles, or a Catan rematch.

Porch yoga

The wraparound porch is wide enough for nine mats. Sunrise on the eastern side, sunset on the west.

Galley cook-off

Split into two teams, raid the pantry, judge with the fire pit going. We'll point you to the closest farm stand for fresh produce.

Trailhead from the driveway

A short woods walk loops off the property — good for a pre-coffee stretch or letting the kids burn off pancakes.

Outdoor movie night

Bring a projector — the porch white wall is screen-sized. Popcorn from the snack basket.

Within an hour

Outings the whole group can do together.

5–25 min drive

Guided hikes (AT, Blood Mountain, Coosa Backcountry)

Multiple guide services in Blairsville will pick your group up at the lodge. Half-day and full-day options.

15–35 min

Vineyard tours — Crane Creek, Hightower Creek, Yonah Mountain

North Georgia is quietly the South's best wine region. Most wineries welcome small groups with notice.

30 min

Helen River tubing

Tube the Chattahoochee in summer. Cool River and Helen Tubing both handle groups up to 9 easily.

30 min

Zipline & treetop adventure (NOC Zip Adventure)

Half-day zipline canopy tour — bookable in advance for the whole group on one slot.

45 min

Mountain biking — Mulberry Gap & Aska Trails

Cross-country and flow trails for everyone from green to black. Rentals available in Blue Ridge.

15–25 min

Lake Nottely & Lake Chatuge

Pontoon rentals, paddleboards, lakeside sunset dinners. Lake Nottely is closest — 15 minutes from the gravel drive.

25 min

Brasstown Bald — top of Georgia

Drive up, short paved walk to the summit observation tower. Best done at sunrise or sunset.

45 min

Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

Half-day vintage rail trip along the Toccoa River. A good rainy-day or fall-color plan.

30 min

Helen, GA — Bavarian village

Shops, breweries, Oktoberfest (every weekend Sept–Oct). Easy half-day group outing.

Bring your nine

The lodge is the basecamp. The mountains do the rest.
